Internet for construction sites and job trailers

From the FAILOVER5 team at Twisted VoIP, Chandler, Arizona · Updated October 2026

Ordering a wired line for a job trailer can take longer than some phases of the project. A cellular router gets the trailer online as soon as the trailer is set, then moves to the next site when the job wraps up.

What the trailer needs

  • Procore, Autodesk Build and other project management apps
  • Bluebeam and drawing sets that sync from the cloud
  • Email and video calls with the office, owners and architects
  • Time tracking and daily reports
  • Site cameras and progress capture

Here, cellular is the main line

On most job sites there's no wired service to back up. The cellular router is the internet. That changes the plan size: you're carrying everything, not just the essentials during an outage.

Site cameras use the most data by far. Count them when you choose a plan.

Coverage varies by site

A carrier that's strong at one project can be weak at the next. Because we offer Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, you can choose per site. On remote sites, an external antenna on the trailer roof can make the difference.

Suggested plan: 100 GB plan, $228/month

As the main connection for a busy trailer, plan on 100 GB or more. Sites with several cameras should look at 200 GB, or T-Mobile Ultra 1200 (1.2 TB, $279) where T-Mobile coverage is strong.
